I didn’t actually write much about this rally which is surprising as so much happened! For example, I got together with Lee, my future husband! I had the best time, with so many great people there, and brilliant bands. So here are some of the photos, with the few words that I had to say at the time…
Friday
Friday night – didn’t take many photos at all, too busy talking! Ryde Theatre, The Jamm – brilliant! Kev Lock didn’t play anything I asked for. [sorry Kev! It obviously didn’t dampen my enjoyment…!]
Saturday daytime
Brilliant custom show followed by popping over the Solent to see Pompey beat Watford 3-0. What more could a girl ask for?
Saturday Night
Lots of photos, Edwin Starr was fantastic. Lost my voice due to too much talking.
Sunday
Wonderful weather, great rideout. Hipshaker and Ryde Theatre in the evening. Soulful Sally played all my favourites – thank you! Not many photos, too busy talking in a very squeaky voice.
Monday
Went home. Fab weekend, best ever in my opinion. Roll on Woolacombe!!
[What I didn’t say is that I came home with a stowaway – Lee! He ditched Red Funnel for Wightlink and came back with me. The rest, as they say, is history…]
