A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to take some Bognor and Chichester aerial photos from a light aircraft based at Goodwood. I recently found them on my computer so thought it would be nice to share them here.
It’s worth saying that these are low resolution, compressed versions but the full-size versions are available for sale. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing any of them.
Chichester aerial photos
The first photo is a view of Chichester looking south. You can see the cathedral on the right hand side about half way down, and Oaklands park with the Festival Theatre on the bottom on the right hand side. St Richard’s hospital is in the bottom left hand corner and the lakes around Lakeside Holiday Park are above it.
This is the view towards Chichester and beyond from the east.
Tangmere Aerial Photo
Here is a view of City Fields Way in Tangmere before the housing estate building work started. It has changed completely since then!
Felpham Aerial Photos
I love this image of Felpham beach. You can see the south-east corner of King George V playing fields on the left hand side, with Limmer Lane, southern Felpham and the Summerley Estate in the main view.
Here you can see all of King George V playing field looking south towards the Summerley Estate, with Summerley Fields on the left and the Ley Road area on the right.

Bognor Aerial View
Here is a slightly odd angle of Hotham Park, with the Glenwood Estate to the right of it, and Edward Bryant school to the left. You can see Sainsbury’s and the caravan parks in the top left right corner and the town on the left.
