I have created a series of free rusty scooter wallpapers to liven up your phone or tablet and you can use them on your lock or home screens. This page is dedicated to rusty and ratrod scooters, which are not necessarily the first choice to be featured in the glossy magazines. However, I love the patina look, whether it’s carefully cultivated or completely original rust.
I like to use wallpapers on my iPhone’s lock screen, and the images below include versions with the 2019 national rally calendar and a calendar for the current month. This means that if I press the home button then I can see this useful info at a glance, to check the rally dates or this month’s calendar.

Press and hold the image you want to use, and your device will hopefully show a ‘Save Image’ or similar prompt. Click that to save the image on your device and then configure the settings to use it as your wallpaper.

This month’s rusty scooter is the delightfully named Crack Whore. I met ‘her’ at the SWSC Hayling Island rally in 2018. You can see more photos of this Lambretta in my Hayling Island scooter rally write-up here.
If you’re not sure how to set your phone’s wallpaper then I’ve produced a YouTube video which you can see here, for how to set it on an iPhone or iPad.
I find that you’ll need to re-position and/or resize the wallpapers when you’re setting them on your device. I explain this in the video – but on an iPhone you can play around with it in Settings before you click the ‘Set’ button.
